If necessary, the BMS reduces the power output to improve the range and ensure maximum safety. This temporary power-limiting regulation is particularly effective in challenging conditions such as high ambient temperatures or insufficient cooling of the battery.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIf you notice a continuous drop in performance while driving, this is due to the battery's protective device. You can avoid or reduce temporary power limitations by observing the following points:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ea) Avoid heating the battery before operation, e.g. through exposure to sunlight.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eb) Operate your electric motor in the most efficient power range possible.
