True North 20' Aluminum Dock

Sale price$4,249.00 USD

Our dock packages are built from modular aluminum frame sections, available in 5′ x 10′ and 5′ x 15′ sizes. The 5′ x 10′ frame weighs only 60 lbs, making it easy for one or two people to move the dock in and out of the water.

At 5 feet wide, our docks are a full foot wider than most competitors, offering more stability and a more user-friendly experience on the water. Lightweight, durable, and easy to assemble—our docks make waterfront access simple and enjoyable.

FRAME ATTACHMENT

Connecting two dock frames is quick and simple. Each connection uses two 3/8″ stainless steel bolts with lock nuts.

Because stainless steel can be prone to galling, we recommend applying the anti-seize compound included with your dock package.

For assembly, you’ll typically need two 9/16″ wrenches or sockets—that’s it! Fast, secure, and hassle-free.

LEG POCKETS

Each leg pocket is welded directly to the aluminum frame, creating a strong, durable structure built to last for years of trouble-free use.

Every frame type—Free Standing Section, End Section, and Patio Section—features strategically placed leg pockets, making it easy to expand your dock by adding additional sections.

See our frame identification diagram to locate each pocket and plan your dock layout.

LEG ADJUSTMENT

Easily adjust and level your dock by raising or lowering the legs within the leg pockets.

Once the perfect height is set, secure each leg with two 1/2″ stainless steel bolts. This friction-fit system allows for infinite height settings for a perfectly level dock.

Need to readjust? Simply loosen the bolts, reposition the legs, and retighten—it’s that simple.

DOCK LEGS

Our docks use four standard leg lengths: 3′, 4′, 5′, and 6′, allowing for flexible setup in a variety of water depths. Typically, 4½′–5′ of water is sufficient at the dock’s end, so the 6′ legs are usually installed there.

For a standard 30′ dock (three 5′ x 10′ frames), the typical leg configuration is two 3′, one 4′, and one 6′ leg. Expanding to a 40′ dock? We simply add a pair of 5′ legs. Longer docks use multiples of the standard lengths as needed.

Legs come with 8″ square footpads as standard, with 12″ footpads available for softer lake bottoms.

CONCRETE MOORINGS - OPTIONAL

The 75lb - 150lb Concrete Mooring is a simple, reliable solution for securing your dock in place. Just connect your legs from the mooring to your dock, and you’re ready to go.

For proper installation, anchoring at the point furthest from shore is required. The number of anchors and setup will depend on the conditions of your water—stronger currents and larger waves may require additional support.

Designed for versatility, this anchor works with both floating and standing dock systems.

CEDAR DECKING

Our cedar decking panels measure 5′ x 5′ and weigh just 55 lbs (25 kg) each, making them easy to handle during installation.

We use 5/4 × 5″ cedar boards sourced from mills in British Columbia for a durable, natural finish. Each panel is reinforced with two purlins on the underside, securely screwed to the deck boards above.

Ceramic-coated screws are applied from underneath, giving the deck a clean, hardware-free appearance.

Once installed, two cedar panels per frame are secured with aluminum angles and stainless steel screws included in your dock package (see assembly video for guidance).

BOAT FENDERS

Optional plastic horizontal and vertical boat bumpers are available.
Each are 44″ long and protect boats from the frame edge and legs.
Each horizontal bumper attaches to the frame section with two stainless steel bolts.
Each vertical bumper is molded with two plastic leg pockets.
Vertical bumpers are installed during dock assembly.
No fasteners are required as the bumper is held in place by the leg.
